Cake Smash Cardiff – a First Birthday surprise for Megan!

Megan’s first birthday surprise of a cake smash was simply amazing.  We have known Megan’s mum and dad for a few years – we photographed their wedding and on a few other occasions as well!  So we were absolutely delighted when we were contacted to photograph Megan’s 1st birthday cake smash.

As well as bringing the smashable cake, Megan also had her own mini apron and whisk, together with her first birthday balloons for the background.

What was really amusing was Megan’s reaction – at first she was very gentle with the cake and had to be encouraged to start the smashing bit!  Looking up at each time to make sure she wasn’t being naughty.  To be honest – we were all in stitches – there were a few shaky pictures where I was laughing too much!
